Ms. Lewis is a Certified Family Law Specialist* and a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has been a member of the California Bar since December 1988. Ms. Lewis has practiced family law exclusively since 2009. Ms. Lewis has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers and Top 100 Northern California Lawyers by Super Lawyers® in 2023 and 2024 and one of The Best Lawyers in America® in the field of family law for 2024 and 2025.

Ms. Lewis’ family law practice focuses on complex family law matters both in mediation and through all stages of negotiation or litigation, including trial and appeal. Ms. Lewis is recognized in her field not only for her sophistication in family law, but for her compassion and caring for her clients and their families. Ms. Lewis’ practice focuses on divorce, paternity cases, property characterization and division, child and spousal support proceedings, high-conflict custody disputes, including relocation cases and cases involving resist-refuse dynamics, parentage and post-judgment proceedings. Ms. Lewis also prepares prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Educational Background
Ms. Lewis earned her bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law (commonly known as UCLA School of Law).
Supporting the Community
Ms. Lewis is an active and long-standing member of the community. She is a member of the Boad of Directors of the Northern California Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and she volunteers regularly for the San Mateo County Superior Court, Family Law Division. She raised two children in the Bay Area and is well-experienced dealing with the issues confronting modern families in the region.
